Tim O'Neill
has been active as an underwriter in the Property Casualty insurance industry for over 35 years and currently manages the daily underwriting and production operations of WESTCAP. In the past, he led the start-up of underwriting operations for a Risk Retention Group that was domiciled in Nevada and helped create the group coverage forms, underwriting procedures and rating processes. His background includes significant experience in Excess and Surplus lines, General Liability, Property, Inland Marine and Automobile underwriting arising from his tenure as underwriting manager for a nationally recognized Excess and Surplus lines broker.
Mike Conklin began his insurance career in 1973 after graduating from the University of California at Dominquez Hills. He has been associated with WESTCAP for 20 years, but has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. His insurance career has primarily been concentrated in claims handling and management, but a significant number of years has been devoted to underwriting. In this regard, he was in charge of all technical aspects of underwriting for a Risk Retention Group where he developed manuscripted policies and commercial general liability programs.
Tom Bunke
was welcomed back to WESTCAP in May 2009. A 1988 Finance graduate of Chico State, Tom began his insurance career shortly afterwards underwriting for a nationwide Restaurant program. Tom's first tour with WESTCAP began in 1996, underwriting for its contractors general liability program, and stayed until 2001 when he joined a national independent brokerage operation.
Bob Shelley
has been associated with WESTCAP for over 20 years. In past years, his responsibilities have included overseeing and managing Company properties. In that capacity, he has worked directly with contractors of all trades and has gained extensive knowledge of construction operations. Bob was effective in handling a large volume of business in WESTCAP's processing department and has been a valued asset as an underwriter over the past two years. He holds a Fire & Casualty license and has a broad range of experience in both insurance and construction operations.
